Greetings to those who share in the love and enjoyment of photography! 

On behalf of the members of Pines West Camera Club, welcome to our website and, I hope eventually our group, as a new addition to our membership.
We are situated in Pembroke Pines, Florida, southwest of Ft Lauderdale and have been in existence since the year 2000. We hold our meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month (with the exception of December) at the Southwest Focal Point Community Center. 
In addition to our regular meeting room we have the use of an auditorium for hosting large events, like special visits from renowned photographers such as Artie Morris, George Lepp, Parish Kohanim, and Lewis Kemper.

Some of our other activities include: field trips, hands-on demonstrations, club member presentations, exhibits at various area galleries, competitions (every third meeting with an end of year judging), all topped off by a year-end holiday party. 

Relatively new to photography? Not to worry! Our membership consists of people of all skill levels and one of the strengths of our club is that we are always willing to help one another – I like to think that one of the central tenets of PWCC is to teach one another and learn from one another.
